TWFM Computers for Heroes Program

At "The Warfighters Mission," we hold in the highest regard the valorous and selfless actions of those individuals who serve or have served our country. With our Computers for Heroes program, we strive to do our small part in these individuals' lead-up to or life after military service or emergency response by providing both operational and psychological support to them and their families. When we say, "Mission Accomplished," it pertains to our doing right by those who have done right by us

Our Mission:

The Warfighters Mission is committed to supporting those who have sacrificed so much for our safety and freedom. Through our Computers for Heroes program, we seek to bridge the digital divide by providing free computers to those who have served on the frontlines of defense and emergency response.

Partnering with BC's PC's:

In collaboration with BC's PC's, we work together to guarantee that each recipient gets a top-grade computer suited to their requirements. From the most basic online services necessary for connecting with their families to tools for accessing virtual support groups, these computers are lifelines that link our heroes to the resources and opportunities they need to transition back to civilian life. But giving away computers isn’t our only jam.

Hand-Delivery and Prayer:

We also believe in the power of a personal connection and the worth of a spiritual healing. That’s why we hand-deliver each computer and pray for the hero and their family when we do.

Bringing Ministry Online:

We also provide the spiritual side of well-being. Our nation's heroes face many demands that can take a toll on the spirit, including serving in combat, often resulting in unique and burdensome challenges that few can understand. Some of these challenges lead them to a path of mental health issues like PTSD, depression, or anxiety. We know traditional church services may be difficult for these veterans, not to mention the way their circumstances may make it hard to attend with a wife, girlfriend, or kids. Our online church services give our veterans and their families a safe, private place to worship. Whether you serve your country from a distance in a "Worship in a Bag" format, or gather your family around a computer or TV for an "intimate church service," you can enjoy the peace of knowing you can still worship and be part of a community.

Get Involved:

This could not happen without donors like you. You give us the ability to continue our essential work—in part because you obviously believe in it. You help make it possible for us to provide our heroes with free, useful, and mostly cutting-edge computer equipment. We also give them the computer skills necessary to operate their new systems—either in service of their own ambitions or as a means to an end that we hope is nothing less than a significant improvement in their quality of life. We also hope to serve their imaginations, as we in some small way serve their very real lives by making a pretty big difference in both.
