Bringing Joy and Hope to Military Families
For many military families, Christmas is not always easy. Finances can be tight, loved ones may be away, and the weight of service often lingers long after the uniform comes off. Christmas for Heroes was created to change that. Our goal is simple. To bring joy, hope, and encouragement to veterans, active duty service members, and their families during the holiday season.
A Story That Started It All
Our president, Brandon Cabalar, understands these struggles in a personal way. After being medically retired due to combat injuries, he and his family faced difficult times. The future felt uncertain and the holidays were especially hard. One year, a local company stepped in and provided Christmas gifts for his entire family. That act of generosity left a lasting mark. It gave his family hope when they needed it most and inspired him to create Christmas for Heroes so that other military families would not feel forgotten.
How the Program Works
Families who want to be part of the program sign up with us. We personally reach out to introduce ourselves and to understand the needs of the family. Each family then provides a Christmas wish list not only for the children but also for the husband and wife. We do everything possible to fulfill as much of those lists as we can.
Along with the gifts, we provide a Warfighters Bag filled with surprise goodies meant to encourage the family and let them know they are appreciated. The delivery is personal as well. Families are invited out for ice cream, where we sit down together and hand deliver the gifts. It is not just about presents. It is about connection and making sure families know they are not walking through this season alone.
The Heart of the Program
Christmas for Heroes is about more than gifts under a tree. It is about lifting burdens, creating joy, and reminding families that they matter. Every gift carries a simple message. You are seen. You are valued. Your sacrifice and the sacrifice of your family will not be forgotten.

When you sponsor a veteran, a service member, or a military family, you are doing far more than giving gifts. You are helping us fulfill wish lists, provide Warfighters Bags, and personally deliver hope during the holiday season.
